Lifting the AHU to the Rooftop

Connecting the Ductwork

The electrician will connect the power supply to the AHU’s control panel. They’ll also wire up any sensors and controls that are part of the AHU system. Once the connections are made, test the electrical system to make sure everything is working properly.

Testing and Commissioning

After all the installations are done, it’s time for testing and commissioning. First, we’ll do a visual inspection of the entire system. Check for any loose connections, leaks, or signs of damage. Then, we’ll turn on the AHU and let it run for a while.

Monitor the system’s performance. Check the airflow, temperature, and pressure. Make sure the AHU is operating at the right capacity and that it’s providing the desired level of comfort. If there are any issues, troubleshoot them right away.

Maintenance Tips

Once the AHU is up and running, regular maintenance is key to keeping it in good shape. Change the air filters regularly. Dirty filters can reduce the AHU’s efficiency and cause it to work harder, which can lead to premature wear and tear.

Inspect the belts, motors, and other components periodically. Look for signs of wear, such as frayed belts or overheating motors. Lubricate the moving parts as recommended by the manufacturer.

Also, keep the area around the AHU clean. Remove any debris or leaves that might accumulate on the unit or in the ductwork.
